Teaching Statement

I am passionate about making economics and data science accessible through an interdisciplinary, real-world approach. My teaching spans microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, game theory, forecasting, and applied statistical computing, with a focus on turning complex ideas into clear, actionable insights. At Posit (formerly RStudio), I designed end-to-end data science learning pipelines for clients in industry, academia, and government, and I regularly lead workshops on personal investing and applied data analysis. Across all settings, I aim to bridge theory and practice, foster curiosity, and equip learners with the skills to solve real-world problems.
